It isn’t everyday that Nascar driver Danica Patrick picks your car as her favorite over hundreds of other cars! But that is exactly what happened to Debbie and Tim Edwards recently at the Stewart-Haas racing “Hot Rods at the Race Shop” show in Kannapolis NC on Sunday Oct. 12th.
This bad to the Bone 1955 Chevy is a great ride for the Edwards. They have owned it for 8 years, and spent 3 1/2 years restoring it. It is packing a powerful Chevrolet ZZ4 crate engine mated to a high performance 700-R4 Transmission. High-flow aluminum heads are the keys to the ZZ4’s robust 355 hp and 405 lb-ft of torque. They boast 163-cc intake runners, raised exhaust ports, and tight, 58-cc combustion chambers that enhance compression and power. The heads feature 1.94/1.50-inch valves for efficient performance.
So when you see this Chevy more than likely Debbie, or Tim, may blow your doors off! Dressed up with Foose Wheels, and STOP on a dime 4 wheel disc brakes, what could be better? This Red and White hardtop is one beautiful car and the one all tri-five gals & guys want!
