Letter From the Editor, January 2015

January 1st 2015! Boy, if I knew I was going to live this long I would have taken better care of myself!  Anyhow what a great day it was. It was in the low 50’s, nice and sunny.

There were several New Year’s day cruises going on in the Charlotte area and they were great. Glen Hughes from Hughes Automotive in Charlotte had his cruise from Charlotte to Rockingham and 50 to 60 cars left from Hughes Automotive and ended up at Fatz Café with other car clubs showing up. There were well over 200 cruisers at the location! Eye candy everywhere!

Jim and Linda Long had their New Year’s day cruise also along with a few friends, They went from Kannapolis to Mocksville then down through Tyro and over to Linwood for lunch. After lunch they went from Linwood down by Tuckertown Reservoir and around High Rock Lake and back to Kannapolis. It was fun and I can’t wait for next year!

Remember January 9th and 10th at the Metrolina Expo Center is the Tom Mack Charlotte Auto Fest! It is a great place to buy a car or parts. There is a big auction as well as a car corral. There are parts for sale inside and out as well! Check out Tom’s website at the address below for further info! See ya there!
